I was passionately into Le Chevalier d’Eon back when it was airing. Wens and I made a (mostly Lia/Robespierre/Durand) fansite, which will be going offline soon. I was looking through and decided to repost some of my favorite screencaps. They still give me FEELINGS.
When I’m being really good, I try to thumbnail the chapters I write. I edit the script while I thumbnail or go back and add or cut things out of the script in order for the chapter to fit well into the 15 pages. It really helps with pacing and giving me an idea of how the script will look on the page.
I do this mostly so that Nuu doesn’t have to take something she didn’t write and make it fit. Also because it’s hilarious.
Ladies and gents, pages 9-11 of chapter 16. In all their original glory.Writers are artists too.
No we’re not.
Ooh behind-the-scenes comic process! :D
We’re experimenting with approaches to Spacejinx. In the current chapter Wens sent me thumbnails/layout roughs as the script format and it’s working out really well for us too.
Oh man, if only.

because I found out there was a patron saint of bakers and then Kat was talking about following THE POPE when figuring out if there was a patron saint of comic artists.
OF COURSE. OF COURSE! Kat is a genius.
“Dear Paul Pope, please watch over my page tonight, and give me the strength to wield this brush in your honor…”
